This Tuesday, August 12th, pack a picnic and a blanket to lie on the grass and watch the best meteor shower of the summer! Or, for just $2, you can join the GVRD at Aldergrove Lake Regional Park, before the sun sets, to enjoy games and storytelling of the Greek hero Perseus who lends his name to this meteor shower. Explore the solar system through an astronomer’s telescope and navigate through summer constellations with a park interpreter or Astronomer. Check the GVRD website for more details. Now we just need to keep our fingers crossed for clear skies!
